BRERETON  AND  RAVENHILL  PARISH  COUNCIL

 

Minutes of a meeting of the Finance and Management Committee held at the Parish Hall, Ravenhill Park, Brereton, on Wednesday, 2nd September 2020.

 

Present

 

Councillors Mrs DM Easton [Vice-Chairman in the Chair], K Ansell, Alderman R Easton and         Mrs L Johnson.

 

Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Mrs P Ansell, Mrs G Harvey [Chairman] and JC Harvey.

 

Mr PG Davies, the Parish Clerk, was also in attendance.

 

  1. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

 

RESOLVED

 

That Councillor Mrs DM Easton be appointed Chairman for the remainder of the municipal           year.

 

  1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

 

There were no declarations given at the commencement of the meeting.

 

  1. APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

 

RESOLVED

 

That Councillor Mrs L. Johnson be appointed Vice-Chairman for the remainder of the       municipal year.

 

  1. MINUTES

 

RESOLVED

 

That the minutes of the meeting held on 4th March 2020, be approved and signed as a correct record.

 

  1. ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT

 

The Clerk circulated a schedule of accounts for payment.

 

RESOLVED

 

That authority be given for the payments included on the submitted schedule.

 

  1. FINANCE REPORT

 

The Report of the Clerk showing the income and expenditure of the Parish Council as at

31st July 2020, was submitted for information and noted.

 

  1. MARIE CURIE EMERGENCY APPEAL

 

RESOLVED

 

That consideration of this matter be deferred to the November meeting.

 

  1. BUS SHELTERS

 

The Committee noted that the first tranche of the maintenance monies, ie £2,000.00, had been received from Brereton Million.

 

  1. DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING

 

RESOLVED

 

That the next meeting be held on 14th October 2020, at 8.00 p.m.
